Thanksgiving randomness

This Thanksgiving morning, I have to give thanks for all the amazing people in my life.

I have the greatest group of friends anyone could ask for. You are so supportive, helpful, and tolerant of my quirkiness. Thank you for always being there for me and keeping me sane.

I am also very thankful for the family I've had all along. Mums, Papa, and my Incredible Siblings. You have helped me become the person I am. You are the tail clothes that makes all my kite strings stable. I love you guys.

I am most especially thankful for Mr. Perfect, Super Swim Chick, Beatles Lover, and Game Boy. Meeting you has made this the most amazing year of my life. I can't imagine this holiday season or the rest of my life without you. You are the Kite Strings attached to my heart strings.

I suppose I should introduce you to those random people populating my world.

As a Most Happy Girl, I live for the time I can spend with Mr. Perfect. When not spending endless hours basking in the glow of his immediate attention and love, I can be found writing technical documentation for a large, international health care software company. I also teach children of various sizes and abilities how to play the piano.

Mr. Perfect works hard as a structural engineer, designing the framework of buildings and parking structures. He keeps the world safe from falling concrete (don't call it cement in his presence).

Super Swim Chick is a senior this year and president of FBLA at her school. She works hard on the swimming team, specializing in the breaststroke. She's also taking classes at the local community college with her eye on law school in California in the near future.

Beatles Lover is into theater, music, and the Beatles (not necessarily in that order). She's taught herself to play the guitar, and far outstrips Mr. Perfect in chord changes. She's enjoying her last year in junior high, and has the most loyal group of true, fast friends a teenager could hope for.

Game Boy is making his way through his first year of junior high by showing some amazing survival skills (a must for any 12 year-old). He keeps us laughing with his slightly off-centered sense of humor and random words of great wisdom.

Psycho Wunderhund loves people, especially those who will let him maul them. He's super friendly, but completely unaware of his own strength. His great ambition is to break free from his fence and roam the neighborhood unfettered by leash or even collar.

Well, that's all for now. Happy reading, my little pupils.

My first randomness

I suppose the biggest reason I've never started a blog is because I always think "Who in their right mind would care in the least about the random thoughts coming out of my head." I guess we'll find out. Any way, this is my blog. Please feel free to leave comments and suggestions. I'm sure that as I get more adventurous with all of this, the posting will become more interesting (here's hoping) and the pictures will be something you want to look at.

Next time, I'll add more details, include some pictures, and rearrange things so that it all looks how I want it to look.

Happy reading, my little pupils.
