Never forget

A friend of our works in one of the tall buildings that surrounds Ground Zero of the World Trade Center. Over the last year since they moved to the New York area, he has been watching construction for the memorials. I think the sunken fountains are amazing and beautiful, and a fitting tribute to the people who lost their lives on that tragic morning twelve years ago. I find it astonishing to think that twelve years have past, but I also find it astonishing to think it has only been twelve years.

Time for another contest? I'll need some help..

I just took a small gander at the blog counter, and this is what I saw:

Anyhoo, I think it's time again for a contest, but I'm out of ideas. So, if you have an idea for a contest I could do (along with rules and prizes -- be reasonable, please), then comment on this post and tell me what you think I should do and offer.

Love these faces

Mr. Perfect and Most Happy Girl had a wonderful trip to Spokane to visit Lawyer-in-the-Works over the Labor Day weekend. We had a lot of fun, ate a lot of really good food (great suggestions from Lawyer-in-the-works), and were able to make a session at the Spokane LDS Temple. (Another down, almost 100 to go.) I don't have many of the pictures ready to post online, but here are three that make me smile.

I'll try to post more later today or tomorrow. In the meantime, here's one from the temple.
