No, and here you can read a really great post about why.
(Thanks for the link, Sweet Dulcinea!)
I once asked a friend which version of Jane Eyre was her favorite. Her response was "The book" in a tone that left no doubt about what she thought of my question and my intelligence. So, I have to reiterate her statement. If you're wondering about The Book of Mormon, I suggest you read the original. It will be your favorite version, too.

We will be going to NYC this summer and will not be seeing this show.
General society doesn't seem to understand that secret and sacred are not the same thing. I understand everything we members do is out there and is not secret, but even if they are common knowledge, I still hold the gospel and it's practices sacred. I do not mock and drag out things other religions find sacred, even if I don't subscribe to that theology and it offends me when the things ANY religion finds sacred is treated in a disrespectful way.
No, I will not go see the Book of Mormon. I am one who has no issues with laughing at myself and even the funny things we Mormons do, but that which is sacred needs to always be respected and honored.
I don't know if it can be said better than what "Mrs. Spy" said.
I was sad to hear that a play that mocks other's beliefs would win so many Tony's.
I am extremely impressed with your writing skills and also with the layout on your weblog. Is this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself? Anyway keep up the nice quality writing, it is rare to see a great blog like this one today..prada handbag
