The Muppets take Les Mis
Mr. Perfect and Most Happy Girl are gearing up to audition for Les Miserables at Hale Centre Theatre next week. In honour (yes, I know it's the British spelling) of this event, may I present for your viewing enjoyment: Les Moussables by the Muppets. You're welcome.

International Talk Like a Pirate Day -- yesterday
I feel like I missed a great opportunity by not posting this yesterday, but I'm posting it now. Does that make my blogging miss less pathetic? No? Well, enjoy this anyway.

Ella Mae sings Elvis
I was away at Young Women Camp all of last week. I'm still organizing pictures from it and doing laundry. It was a wonderful experience. The girls were amazing (no drama -- except for the intentional acting games), and everyone had a great time. I'll post more once I've caught up on my sleep.
In the meantime, enjoy this hilarious video from YouTube.

Home - Phillip Phillips
I don't think I watched any of the American Idol season where this guy won, but I like this song a lot. I'll have to check out more of his music. (Thanks, Dizzy Dandelion for posting this.)

Stacey Kent is amazing!
Mr. Perfect and Most Happy Girl caught a concert by the jazz singer Stacey Kent and her saxophone-playing hubby, Jim Tomlinson, just a week before our wedding. It was a perfect date to a perfect concert. We have been huge fans every since. Now you can hear why. Don't get put-off by the French lyrics. Just enjoy the music. (Genius Child #2 will love it, I know!)

Just how big are things in space?
Yesterday, the NASA's Astronomy Picture of the Day was a YouTube video showing how the objects in our solar system compare with some of the well-known stars in our galaxy. After looking around YouTube a bit more, I found this one, which had better music. (And I'm all about the music, as you well know.)

When Did You Fall in Love with Me?
A friend at work introduced me to Chris Rice's music several years ago. He's a Christian artist who has released several albums. He hasn't released any new music since 2008; I hope he is still writing and recording.
Even though we've been married for more than four years, this song makes me smile and think of Mr. Perfect and when we were dating.
