Beatle's Lover told us last night that she not only received a superior at the district-level drama competition (and is going to state), but that she took top honors in humorist monologue. Way to go!!When asked it she would perform it for us, she became very guarded and said no repeatedly. I asked her what it was from, so after the kids headed to their mom's, I used my favorite search engine to track it down. No wonder she wouldn't perform it for us. It has a bit of profanity in it. Makes me sad for the public school system.
